WISE, a charitable non-profit, is entirely supported by the generosity of many who have benefited from the sharing. As you walk in this wisdom journey, you can’t help but be awed by how you respond and act in life. The transformation is insignificant at first but as understanding deepens, it is too obvious to go unnoticed. Even family and friends will be deeply impacted as the ripples of change spread to others far and wide. The beauty of the heart shines forth and it is palpable to whoever you come into contact with. It is through this life-transforming actuality and not merely a potentiality that WISE would like to offer a platform for the work to reach out to many more people so that they can attend regular sharing, workshops and retreats held at the existing retreat centres.
Such a worthy cause undertaken by the teachers as well as those who are supporting it has far reaching effects not only to the WISE team but also to those who attend the retreats. The effects spread out to the community they interact with. Quoting the words of Dalai Lama, `Just as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, the actions of individuals can have far-reaching effects.’
It is obvious that as noble a cause as this may be, the organization cannot function without the necessary funds to run the centres, see to their upkeep, maintenance and rental besides offering free courses to retreatants or participants. We believe that it is in our hands to make a difference. Our pay forward policy is undertaken with sincerity and conviction that by doing so, we can help to sponsor those who are keen to participate yet do not have the funds to do so. In this regard, any contribution is most appreciated because no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
