SR30

A privilege for inner-enquiry and realization in a need-to-speak-only environment

Thoughts that come into the mind will continue so long as thoughts are unrecognized, which then turn into speech or furthered into actions.

Just as thoughts that have arisen and those that have not arisen will have different effects on the mind, so are thoughts that are spoken and those that have not been spoken will have different consequences to the world around us. For that, it won’t be too far-fetched to say that our next moment of experience in the world is partly consequent on how we responded a moment ago.

Developing wholesome speech begins when we train ourselves to notice the thoughts that arise in our mind; whether it is worthy of conveying or not. And what better way of developing this skill than by attending a retreat that is dedicated to silence – where the incessant need to speak is contained within the mind. During this period, one will get a glimpse into the mindscape of thoughts and how it influences our behavioural patterns and moods.

We are committed in advancing like-minded individuals to develop their minds further into wisdom and love through Silent Retreats held regularly. Other than occasional discussions with the guides, a Silent Retreat is literally tailored for those who are serious in keeping their mouths shut (pun intended) for inner clarity to arise!

If you are curious and ready to meet the guidelines for this exploration, welcome on board! But be forewarned that the journey may be unpleasantly pleasant.
