There is a moment when understanding becomes a gift, a miracle, when what is happening is being understood and why it is happening is also being understood. In that understanding, the "what is happening" is different from what we think the happening is. One is an understanding, the other a thinking, or a meaning given to it. Just like a father who understood that a reflection of the moon in a pail of water is just a reflection, whereas a child looking at it might have thought that there is indeed a moon in the pail.
Many a time our observation of happenings do not accurately reflect what the case truly is, except the mind's preconceived idea about it. As such we do not really understand what it is and thus made a conclusion over it. Being unaware of this "mis-take" – as in "missing" the actual situation that the mind is "taking" or perceiving – we thought we knew or understood what the happening was. Such an error leads to misunderstanding instead of understanding, and a conclusion is made over what the situation really is.
For that we don't truly know why that happening took place except the "mis-take" the mind gave to it, thinking it knows. Thus, there are two worlds running in parallel to the happening. One is what is really happening, and the other an imagined state of what is really happening. Most of the time, we are in our own world, not knowing that that is not truly a reality. Judgmental mind is what that is. We believe entirely in it.
Of these two worlds, there is a new world awaiting us. A world that is more aligned to each happening, be it with someone, or a situation, or an event. That world only brings peace and harmony within and without, understanding things truly as they are. It begins with a learning, a learning that is borne of mindfulness and right understanding. Welcome to WISE. It is a miracle indeed.
